Please scroll for more photos Here's what some of our past guests had to say....... "We had a great break at North Terrace- would have loved to have stayed longer. We were very impressed with the house. It was so clean and well presented. It was also so spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was very well fitted out. It felt like a home away from home. Our pup Noah loved it too- it was so well set up for pets. It was good having the 2 areas for the pets- both the front deck and the backyard. The river at the end of the street was great too for us and the kids and the dog. We will definate stay there another time in the future. Thanks for being so helpful in organising the accommodation."Kristina Whitby - May 2010 "Our stay was wonderful. The house was fantastic it was close to everything and also fully equiped with everything you would need. It was wonderful for our dog." - Alison, NSW -Jun '08 "House exceeded expectations - good quality appliances & kitchen-ware, spacious dog & child-safe verandah, well-maintained pool & heaps of room! Proximity to river very handy for dog & us." - Lorraine, NSW -Sep '07 "A roomy and very comfortable house in a lovely setting. We were delighted to be able to bring our dog who also had a great holiday." - Conor, QLD -Oct '06 About North Terrace 'North Terrace' has all the comforts of home. Located in a very quite location on a no-thru road, 20m from Ballina's North Creek and a kilometre from the surf beaches. Ideal for the boatie or fisherman with plenty of parking available for the boat and boat ramp just around the corner. We've been told by our past guests that North Creek, just 20m walk away, is the best 'Unknown' fishing spot in Australia! Many of them have lived on frest fish for the whole of their stay. North Terrace sleeps up to 10 people and all linen and towels are supplied. The house is spread over 2 levels, with 2 seperate living areas. To make your stay even more enjoyable, the comfortable air-conditioned upstairs lounge room has a TV, DVD and Austar with plenty of room for the whole family. In the 2nd living area downstairs there is a 2nd TV. The kitchen is fully equiped including dishwasher, microwave and a large seperate deep freezer is also available. The house has its own sparkling pool for those hot summers days with outdoor BBQ area overlooking the pool. The back yard is secure and fully enclosed for the four legged members of the family. North Terrace truely is a home away from home! About Ballina..... Centred on an island at the mouth of the Richmond River, Ballina is surrounded by 32kms of white sandy beaches and crystal clear waterways. Both tranquil seaside hideaway and vibrant holiday resort, Ballina is a funpark for beach lovers, surfers, boaties, anglers and eco-adventurers alike. The Northern Rivers area boasts six of Australia's precious World Heritage National Parks.....dozens of historic villages and towns....hundreds of funky cafes and award-winning gourmet restaurants...scores of galleries, museums, festivals and markets. You never know who you may run into with the likes of Delvine Delanie, Olivia Newton-John, John Butler, Paul Hogan and Stropp all calling the Northern Rivers Home.
There are so many diverse activities in the Northern Rivers area......
The Blues and Roots festival is held in Byron Bay every year over the long weekend-four full on days of music and dancing with shuttle busses available from Ballina. You could visit the interesting and rather alternate village of Nimbin. You can go scuba diving at the famous Julian Rocks off the coast of Byron Bay, you can go horse riding at Angels Beach, hang gliding at Lennox Head, see Byron Bay lighthouse and the wild goats at Cape Byron, or climb Mount Warning-part of the rim of a now extinct volcano. For those of us a little less adventurous and energetic, you could visit the various markets held in the area every weekend, see 'The Big Prawn', visit Thursday Plantation-famous for its tea-tree oil, have a flutter at the Ballina races, have a round of golf or two at one of the many nearby courses or sit back and relax, keeping an eye out for the dolphins who frequent North Creek or even the whales making their annual migration off the coast of Ballina Headlands. ..........it's all just waiting for you!! 'North Terrace' makes the perfect base to explore it all.
